The following common frequency bands have limited or no useable range outdoors in Chicago:

Sennheiser A Band (516‐558 MHz) – Not Useable

Sennheiser G Band (566‐608 MHz) – Not Useable

Shure H55 Band (515‐558 MHz) – Not Useable

Shure J50A Band (572‐608, 614‐616 MHz) – Extremely Limited

Shure G6 Band (506‐542 MHz) ‐ Not Useable

Shure J13 Band (566‐590 MHz) ‐ Not Useable

Please note access to the open bandwidth in the UHF spectrum is reserved for Artist, Media

and Festival Production. Due to the 600 MHz 5G Auction and following DTV repack Chicago has

very limited UHF Spectrum available for use.

UHF wireless intercom systems, Crew IEMs and Patch communication systems will be

extremely limited. Media and broadcast users will be limited in the use of wireless

microphones and if possible will be designated in the low and high VHF, 902‐ 928MHz ISM

Band, or 1920–1930MHz DECT Band. No UHF camera “HOPS” will be allowed.

All Two‐Way Radio’s onsite will need to submit full channel lists with frequencies. Approval of

more than one radio channel is not guaranteed.
